Hosted by Viu, former CLC member turned soloist, SORN held her first-ever solo concert in Singapore on November 25, 2023 at Capitol Theatre! Read on to get the low-down on what happened during SORN: Nirvana Girl !
Spreading Her Wings And Going Solo
Decked out in an outfit reminiscent of Mariah Carey’s 2000s butterfly top, SORN kicked the concert straight into high gear with Sharp Objects and Scorpio. After an electrifying start, she took a moment to talk about her journey to becoming a K-pop idol. It was not an easy one, and we could see how strong SORN’s bond with her former CLC groupmates was when she mentioned how weird it felt to be performing on her own without them “for the time being” — could this be a hint of a reunion?
Getting To Know SORN
SORN shared her favourite song, a touching ballad she wrote called Save Me. The song sparked strong feelings of nostalgia, creating a heartfelt moment for both SORN and the fans. The song then led to a video where SORN took fans back to the beginning of her K-pop journey, starting with Cheongdam where her ex-company was located. She detailed how she managed the demands of training alongside attending school. Fans were then introduced to her favourite area in South Korea — Seongsu-dam — where she got her first apartment.
And while SORN might have gone solo, the CLC spirit is still strong. She paid homage to the group with a medley of some of their bangers such as Black Dress, Hobgoblin and the highly-infectious Helicopter.

Upon arrival at the venue, concert attendees were enthusiastically greeted by fellow Singaporean NamNation members — dedicated fans from the local Eric Nam fan club EricNam_SG were handing out Eric-themed stickers as well as coloured stickers intended to cover attendees’ phone lights, thus transforming their phones into makeshift lightsticks.
Like a well-oiled machine, the show started right at 8PM. It was high-energy right from the get-go — Eric came bounding out on stage full of vitality and started performing Sink Or Swim and Undefined from his latest album, House on a Hill.
If anyone’s ever been to an Eric Nam concert, they will know that the singer — also the host of the award-winning Daebak Show podcast — has a knack for keeping audiences engaged.
“Is anyone here against their will?!” he quipped, eliciting laughter from the crowd before urging everyone to jump up and join in the fun.
