Scales

Scales is a mutation trait that has been passed down from the crocs ancestors. Scales is a smooth plating that lay on-top of the croc skin.

There is a difference between scales and osteoderms .Scales lay flat to the skin and is smooth to the touch, Where osteoderms are thick bone plates that protrude from the skin and is ridged.

You may choose to have your croc completely fur-less.

Scaled mutation does not have fuzzy tail or silken tail, but we do encourage you mod your croc if you desire the traits to show. if modding in this case you will use the regular tail as your base.

The scaled has a free ear set which allows you to choose the ears your croc inherited or the free ear that comes with the scaled base.

All furred/manes/ ear traits are still passable if not shown on the scaled croc,
