Impression points are a way to track your crocs ranking process.
Ip = Impression Points
Art Breakdown and Examples
Note this has more then 3 background elements and is considered a full background.
Note too little background elements to be considered a background.
For a background to be considered a background there needs to be 3 elements besides the ground and sky/clouds. Mountains, trees, water features, bushes, etc... would be considered 3 elements.
Bush #1
This bush does not have enough detail for us to tell exactly what it is to be accepted as a background element.
Bush #2
This bush is considered the minimal amount of detail needed to pass as a background element. The coloring of the lines can be colored or black, but we can tell its a bush now.
Bush #3
This bush is the minimal amount to be considered fully shaded. We can clearly see the shadow on the bush. This does not have to be lined if the shadows are clear enough.
Bush #4
This bush would be considered fully rendered/shaded. Does not require line work as long as enough detail went into the shading/rendering to tell its a bush.
Color rules
Also applies to grey scale coloring.
Note when it says full shaded it is referring to Bush #3.
Grey Scale
When coloring in grey scale, the rules are the same as in color, but markings still must be seen and correspond with the shade of the marking.
Ex. A light cream base croc with white markings must be a light shade of grey with white markings. Same applies to darker crocs but dark grey.
How to count Impression Points
Before anything else the croc's import must be linked in the description of the Artwork / Literature for any IP to count!

Literature
For lit, the location must be clearly described and the piece must focus on the croc.
1IP = 100 words
Min. 1000 words per story, 400 words per extra croc (excludes the main croc)
Ex. Training trail 1000 words plus 100 for a total of 1100 words. = 11IP
Training trail: 1100 words, plus 1 extra croc for 400 words for a total of 1500 words = 15IP
For the Other ARPG/Handler bonus, there needs to be clear and consistent interaction between the handler/creature and the croc throughout the story.
Name/nicknames needs to be listed for quick checking.

Simplified lines will receive half the points.
