Osteoderms

Osteoderms is a mutation trait that has been passed down from the crocs ancestors.

It is a thick bony armor plates that grow within the skin of the croc.

There is a difference between osteoderms and scales. Osteoderms are thick bone plates that protrude from the skin and is ridged. Where scales lay flat to the skin and is smooth to the touch.

Osteoderms will be effected by the marking it touches. Osteoderms can be lighter or darker then the base coat but must deprives from the base coat color and lay under all markings since this is not a true marking.
