Mud

My most recent venture in earth works was the creation of a suitable backyard clay, that wouldn't crack when fired, and would easily be produced. After a few tests I determined that an even mixture of powdered sandstone and refined "clay" would work pretty well and took a sampler to be fired at the CP kiln.

To my delight, it worked better than the previous recipe and fired to a Nickelodeon orange.
