Public Art at the Virginia Garden Walk

The work stretches the length of the walk spanning the block, 13 panels in all. The mural takes visitors along to discover the city that they love, hidden along this secret garden path.  Each panel is a rendering of the neighborhood, past and present, embedded with details and treasures of Bernal Heights.  The renderings in a subtle color gradient represent the ever changing landscape and the colorful city we live in.  Yet the minimalistic lines of the artist’s style integrate seamlessly into the natural beauty of the garden.  You can read about the mural in sfist and watch an interview of Amos while he paints the "City in a Garden."
