Exciting news from the Virginia Garden Walk! Broadmoor Landscaping Supplies generously donated over 7 tons of Coldwater Canyon flagstone and we completed a lower retaining border to control soil erosion with the help of community volunteers.  We also shared the leftover rocks with our sister staircases!

As we approach the 100th anniversary of this treasured space, neighbors planted hundreds of native species thanks to a grant from the Xerces Society, a professional crew pruned the entire garden through generous donations and in-kind labor, and now we have a completed rock border.

A centennial celebration is in the works to honor this architectural gem with a regenerative green space, a secret garden path, and a block-long mural by Amos Goldbaum.
