This is an every man for himself style of play, where you are up against multiple opponents. The last person standing wins!
Each player rolls 2 six-sided dice. The person who has the highest roll goes first, then turns proceed clockwise
Setup and play is like standard play, except no one can attack or play their Totem during their first turn of the game. When an Attack is declared, the player must specify an opponent first, before the attack continues.
When playing Trainer cards, if the text specifies an opponent, you must specify a “target opponent” before you use the effects of the card. If the Trainer card states “each player”, then the Trainer card will affect everyone in play. (This rule may require on-site judging depending on the wording of the card in question)
Once a player has encountered a losing condition (running out of Pokemon in play, no cards in deck during draw phase), they are out of the match.last one standing wins!
This format allows teams of 2 players to play against each other! Setup and rules are the same as Battle Royal, except…
You may only target your teammate with trainer cards and only once per turn
Teammates are still considered “Opponents” for the sake of card wording.
