USE Confirmed as Interior Minister

March 20, 2020

After the HOC (House of Commons) passed LR.024 Parliament Procedure Reform Act Amendment.

The HOC now moves onto the confirmation United State of Edingbridge as Interior Minister. The confirmation hearing went alright but there were many tough questions as the Interior Minister manages the Interior Ministry which is incharge of Welcoming, Thaecia RMB Enforcement and the counselling service.

We can see this in Zanaana question about new departments, the RMB enforcement and why is the best nominee for the job.

"Thank you for arriving at Parliament to answer our questions for your nomination as Thaecia Interior Minister. United States of Edingbridge 1)What initiatives would you bring into the Interior Ministry that would make a lasting impact?

2)Will you add another department to the Interior Ministry?

3)Will you enforce the RMB via the RMB Enforcement Agency?

4)What makes you the best nominee for one of the most influential positions in the Thaecia government?"

There was also questions by Illefeb about whether United States of Edingbridge was capable of the job of Interior Minister considering United States of Edingbridge work as Electoral Commissioner which a lot say did not go well. "While you were electoral commissioner, you repeatedly showed a lack of communication to the general public. Almost every mass telegram sent was followed by a telegram by then-President Xernon because you were either missing information or some of your information was incorrect even. How are you going to fix these communication issues that you had in your previous job? Furthermore, you quit your job as electoral commissioner and pledged allegiance to the Auctoritan Commonwealth. How do I know that this won't happen again? and How do I know that your loyalty is with Thaecia and not the Auctoritan Commonwealth?"

But despite this United States of Edingbridge was confirmed with 7 Ayes, 1 Nay and 2 Abstain.
