Over the season we have been working on our robot. It has come a long way from what it was at the beginning of the season. Designing the ramp and conveyor belt was the most difficult part of our season so far. We had many problems with it, our ramp needed to be low to the ground to function properly, however, it cause many problems with our motion, we decided to change it. We used a pulley that helped pull pixels onto a conveyer belt, the conveyor belt sits on a 3d printed edge. We had our whole build team working on their own ideas, but the idea that prevailed was a rotating linear slide arm. We decided our claw would be our main intake and our spinning wheal would be our back up at the scrimmage. It took while for us to mount the claw onto our back up and for it to bring the game elements to the hight that we needed it at. After the scrimmage we designs a new intake that we call our fan intake we are still working out a couple details t our fan intake, but once it is ready we plan on using it as our main intake and the spinning wheal as out back up. We went from a large chassis that went over the bumps in the field, to a smaller chassis that goes on the sides of the field, to a smaller but longer chassis so we have space for our new intake. We used 3d CAD "Onshape" to design our parts and parts to 3d print. To 3d print, we take the things we design in "Onshape" and use filament to bring our custom parts to life.
