The Students' Voice

Acknowledgment of Country

I would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the Thaua country people on whose land we meet on today. I would like to acknowledge our ongoing connection to our land, sea and community. I respect and am grateful for the wisdom of our elders both past, present and future, their dedication for their communities and for preserving and sharing the knowledge and the rich cultural heritage of mother earth. We must always remember that under this bed rock this land was, is and always will be home to the Thaua people.
