The Spark Project

Welcome

Welcome to The Spark Project, an offering of the Spark of Humanity network. The context: it all began in the late 1970's with the seed insight that there is a spark of humanity in everyone. By the summer of 2016 the seed was germinating. The network began to form, like the sprout of some as yet unknown shrub or tree. None of us know what it is developing into; we just know that tending and encouraging it feeds something essential within us. So we continue to tend and encourage it. This is the current encouragement.

The Spark Project has three facets: Awareness, Acceptance, and Adaptation.

Awareness that we, all children of this planet, are in a time of transition, an evolutionary

surge of some sort. Old structures are breaking apart, habits of thought and response are

being challenged. This is evolution. Resisting it, denying it, fighting against it, leads only

to pain and misery.

Acceptance allows us to participate constructively in this shift. We each have a unique and

essential role to play in bringing ease to this evolutionary process.

Adaptation to this emerging reality provides a sense of agency, of joining, of being a part

of this massive shift. We have a means to offer. We know there are many; we offer this

one because it is what we have to offer.
