A human born and raised in the world known as Lyria, many consider him the monster who single handedly managed to take over half the world in the span of twenty years by the means of his army and magical powers. All that is known of him is that he has lived for centuries, longer than any reported human has in history. His motives are clear, to conqueror the world and ensure his banner flies in any part of the world that he sets his eyes upon. The reasoning however is unknown. Many stories vary, some claim that he does it all in the name of a man named Galloran, a man who died after trying to kill Maldor. Others claim Maldor does it solely to kill the Gods of the world who have repeatedly tried to kill him. Maldor is one of the only humans in the world left who can speak Edomic, a sacred language used to perform magical feats, this is largely because of a law that he enacted which declares that anyone who is not a part of his military, that uses Edomic, will be killed. The last known fact of Maldor is that he became known as the strongest Wizard in the world after killing the God of Magic (Dominic) and taking his powers for himself, which were then used to wipe out Trensicourt's military which was known to be the strongest in the world next to the Amar Kabul.
The Maldorian Empire begins training many of its drafted soldiers at the age of 13 years old. Many of these men and women are firmly believe that the Empire is the great nation in the world. They vary in skills and knowledge as they spread out among Armies, Regiments, Platoons, Special Squads, and Guards with different forms of equipment.
Displacers are a race that was created by Maldor. Maldor is rumored to have created them 500 years ago. They were designed specifically for search and destroy. They are bred from birth to sneak into enemy lines, gain their trust, and then destroy them from within. Many despise them, this includes the majority that lives within the Empire. They look human but are able to change their appearance, remove body parts and reattach them, and keep function of parts that are removed such as being able to still hear through a ear that has been removed. All Displacers serve Maldor loyally, no Displacer in History has ever stood against the Empire.
These are beings within the Maldorian Empire that are able to use magic and enhance this use through tools/weapons that Maldor creates for them to use. Not much is known about them other than that have a close and deadly relationship with Displacers in times of war. A Conscriptor almost never travels alone and will either be with Humans or Displacers if not practicing magic.

There is a very limited amount of them in Lyria and are only used for extremely crucial targets. They carry around Two Torivor Swords. Known as the strongest blades in Lyria. One they offer to their target to defend themselves. They will only attack their chosen target unless attacked by others. Nobody in the history of Lyria has ever been able to slay one in battle.
Birds of Galloran
The Birds of Galloran formed shortly after the death of Galloran, what originally formed as a way of honoring his memory in the name of peace and preservation of justice, has over the years warped into an organization that will do anything to hurt the Empire. Regardless of who it may hurt. This is both ironic and tragic as Galloran was known for being the greatest swordsman in the world but as gentle as a mouse unless provoked by others.
These are the mercenaries in Lyria who have adopted contracts within the rebellion to fight against the Maldorian Empire.
These are the average rebels, they are skilled in combat but lack good equipment. These men and women represent the desire to liberate the Kingdoms of the Maldorian Empire.
