DJing

Originally a DJ was someone who played recorded music for an audience. Music was at that time was recorded on vinyl records. Modern deejaying owes its roots to DJ Cool Herc, Grandmaster Flash and Grand Wizard Theodore who developed various aspects of deejaying as we know them now, namely mixing using two turntables and scratching.
