Which states are clingings (upādānā)?

There are four clingings:

Sensual clinging arises in the eight consciousness-arisings accompanied by greed. Clinging to wrong views, clinging to rules and observances, and clinging to the doctrine of self arise in the four consciousness-arisings associated with wrong view.

These states are clingings.
