House-Elves
It has been a long-standing tradition for house-elves to serve wizardkind. We have relied on them for loyal servitude and obedience. Recently, however, the treatment of wizards toward house-elves have been investigated and the inhumane behavior has caused many of us to voice our concerns.
House-elf bigotry must be terminated or it could begin a revolution between elves and wizards. These faithful creatures are always serving us for our benefit, and many would say they deserve respect, at the very least.
House-elf enslavement is a very controversial topic. Some say that house-elves do not count as humans, but others argue that they have feelings too. It would not be morally correct to neglect them just because of a long tradition —one that disgraced and stripped them of identity.
One of the societies working for the welfare of house-elves is S.P.E.W.
"You do realize that your sheets are changed, your fires lit, your bedrooms cleaned, and your food cooked by a group of magical creatures who are unpaid and enslaved?" says Hermione Granger, the founder of S.P.E.W.
This argument, however, is contradicted by many others.
"Some would say it is their duty to be ordered by wizards," says Barmy Bollocks. "The purpose of their existence is to serve us; disobedience deserves punishment, the worse the situation, the more severe. If they dissatisfy their master, they are going against tradition and deserve to be rejected."
Do you find yourself inconveniently running around to complete your tasks in time? Not to worry, for we have a solution. You can save heaps of time by ordering a house-elf today. Remember, time is Galleons! Our selection of house-elves are noble, diligent, and ready to serve a new master for a lifetime. You will never have to worry about the organization of your household anymore.
There has also been a lot of prejudice towards house-elves. One example was the situation at the 422nd Quidditch World Cup. The Dark Mark had been sent up by a Death Eater on the night of the match, and a house-elf had been found carrying a wand near the suspected site of crime. The house-elf was sacked even though she was innocent.
"They're magical creatures," Hermione Granger says firmly. "They deserve human rights as they are living beings that live among us. At the very least, they should be treated with reverence, for they are forced to handle the tasks that we ignore and underestimate; we are blinded by our indolence."
The treatment of house-elves has improved since the 1996 law regulated by the Ministry of Magic. House-elves themselves have been interviewed, claiming to enjoy work and think of freedom as something shameful. They've been brainwashed into thinking this after centuries of generations. Even if elves enjoy labor, it does not justify cruelty by taking advantage of them.
The prejudice is revolting, which is why The Quibbler stands firmly behind Hermione Granger. House-elves have been neglected not dissimilarly with the existence of Crumple-Horned Snorkacks.
Hermione Granger: The Quibbler simply cannot publish one article without a mention of Crumple-Horned Snorkacks, can it?
Researcher 1: where do house-elves originate from?
Researcher 2: where was the first house elves first sighted?
Researcher 3: Why did house elves end up in a position where they are brainwashed and serving wizards?
Researcher 4: in a land far far awayyy, house elves die.

The connection between our current day events with this article of The Quibbler is between house-elf prejudice and racism. Even though there are laws protecting black lives, the prejudice has not been erased and white supremacists still exist. None of us should be shunned, and all of us deserve equal rights... Even house-elves and Crumple-Horned Snorkacks.
