The church is usually locked but the key can be collected from the Dog Grooming Parlour over the road.

St Lawrence died a horrible death, as did many other saints.
He was roasted alive on a large iron griddle. As he was being BBQ'd, he is said to have, said,
'You can turn me over now,. I am cooked on this side!'
