We're looking for our next generation of youth leaders! If you have an ambitious preteen or teen who loves chess, we'd love to hear from you!

The Pawn Project is a youth ran nonprofit in Purcellville where youth earn monthly volunteer hours by mentoring players and creating a fun, welcoming community. No experience needed. You provide a love of the game - and we'll provide the training!

Our Adult Special Guests are experienced chess players who enjoy encouraging the next generation.
Many have tournament experience — but that is not a requirement.
You don’t need to be a master — just bring:

As a featured Special Guest at The Pawn Project, you’ll have the opportunity to connect face-to-face with a growing community of chess-loving youth and families right here in Loudoun County.

In addition to the live event, we will also spotlight you across multiple platforms, including: Our official website, Social media channels,and  Event promotions through Loudoun County Public Library

This is a meaningful way to grow local connections.
