Aayush Verma - The Relevance of Mathematics in Theoretical Physics (Date - 14 Jul `24)
Abstract - This talk will be a semi-technical lecture on relevance of mathematics in theoretical physics. In this talk, I will point out the dualities in math and physics and the precision of mathematical ability that helps us by drawing the history of discoveries in physics and mathematics. Some points include S-Duality, Mock-Theta function, Tau function, String theory, Poincare's conjecture and so on. In the last, I hope to discuss the future directions.

Devang Bajpai - Traceless Symmetric Tensor Approach to Legendre Polynomials and Spherical Harmonics II (Date - 07 Jul`24)
Abstract - In this talk I will provide a new mathematical tool i.e. traceless symmetric tensor approach through the help of Laplace Equation. And develop relationship between Symmetric Tensors and Spherical Harmonics. And in another talk I will show you how this approach will be more general in research field.

Vaibhav Kalvakota - The Definition of Holography (Date - 30 Jun `24)
Abstract - In this talk, we will review the notion of holography in quantum gravity. We will discuss some subtleties around the definition of holography, and the implications of holography. In the first half, we will discuss some elementary aspects of (A)dS/CFT, some comparisons, and how certain technicalities complicate the general notion of holography as a bulk-(cutoff-)boundary duality. In the second half, we will discuss some aspects in more technical detail, especially in the direction of establishing holography mathematically.
Suggested readings: This talk is based on arXiv:2404.00070 [hep-th].

Aayush Verma - Origin of Monopoles (Date - 02 Jun `24)
Abstract - Monopoles are not observed in nature but they have played a crucial part in physics and mathematics. In this talk, I will review the origins of monopoles and will talk about their interesting connections with mathematics. If time permits, I will talk about the latest developments in this field.
