If you are planning to organize a lecture series or reading program in any of Theoretical Nexus Lecture Series, please read all the information on this page.
Then you have to submit your proposal on this form with all the necessary details.
A subject must be picked for a lecture series. Ideally, it should not be exactly as any previous lecture series or other programmes. This subject must be a little broader but enough broad to actually cover in a short period. One should not just plan a series on 'Number Theory' or 'Quantum Gravity' as it is vague in its first sense as what can be included and what not. You can visit other series editions (in BLS and MLS) to see what can be decided as a topic.
A list of tentative speakers should be made available in the form. Speakers can always be added or dropped after the form submission. Speaker should be aware of the traditions of lecture series in Theoretical Nexus and how to organize their lecture.
Organizing a series requires a slight effort in bringing speakers and attendee smoothly. Organizer(s) will be required to be active in the conduction of the whole series. It is better if there are more than one organizer.
However, if you do not wish to organize a series but just suggest a topic, you can still choose to submit the proposal by checking 'Not as organizer'.
