Dr Theodora Issa is the originator of the ethical mindset construct, first developed in her award‑winning 2009 doctoral research and subsequently advanced through a sustained international publication record. Her foundational articles—including “Ethical mindsets in the Australian services sector” and “Ethical mindsets, spirituality and aesthetics in an Australian business context”—established the construct’s theoretical and empirical basis, while later works such as “Contemporary Global Challenges and Ethical Mindsets” demonstrate its relevance to global ethics, sustainability and leadership. Through comparative studies, interdisciplinary chapters and international engagements across Australia, Asia, Europe and the Middle East, Dr Issa has positioned ethical mindsets as a recognised framework informing organisational behaviour, responsible leadership and ethical practice worldwide.
Ongoing and future Research Program of Dr Theodora Issa builds on the international relevance of the construct of ethical mindsets through empirical, conceptual and translational research initiatives. Leveraging insights gained from her COVID-19 related work, which includes the ongoing exploration of ethical mindsets during and after the pandemic, Dr Issa is embarking upon an ambitious program of publication in which she will continue to evolve the construct of ethical mindsets within the contexts of modern organizations, societies, and technology. In addition to her ongoing program of publication, Dr Issa is writing a scholarly book that will trace the complete intellectual journey of ethical mindsets from their inception in her award-winning doctoral dissertation to the present day.
