Reserve a set of banners for your classroom!

During the 2026-2027 school year, there will be four sets of banners available for teachers/schools to borrow for one week.  Obtaining banners will be on a first-come, first-served basis.  Through a series of partners, we hope to make it easier for teachers in different areas to borrow a set of banners.

Teachers who bring the banners to their school and utilize them in their classroom will be awarded a $50 honorarium when they return the banners at the end of the week.  Honorariums are limited in number.  Constitution Hall can award 19 honorariums; each partner site can award 9 honorariums.  Teachers will be able to continue borrowing the banners even after the available honorariums are distributed.  Unfortunately, we are unable to give an honorarium to each participating teacher due to limited grant funds, but we will continue to facilitate the use of the banners regardless.  

The first set of banners will be housed at Constitution Hall in Topeka (429 S Kansas Ave, Topeka, KS 66603).  You can arrange to borrow these banners by contacting Camhardt@yahoo.com

Our Partner in the Wichita area is Emily Williams, a teacher in Derby.  To reserve a set of the banners in the Wichita area, contact her at ewilliams@usd260.com (a special thanks goes out to rockstar teacher Emily Williams for all her help in bringing this project to life)

We are working to establish a partner in the Lawrence area, and will update this site if that occurs.  Teachers in the Lawrence area are welcome to borrow banners from KC or Topeka.

Teachers outside of these areas are welcome to borrow the banners; it will just require more travel on their part.

The expectation is that, if using the curriculum as designed, teachers should be able to complete the banner analysis part of the project within one five-day week.  Ideally, teachers will be able to coordinate a pick-up and drop-off to occur at the beginning/ending of the week so as to facilitate the most use by teachers.
