A man has ended up in hospital with serious injuries after a random scooter attack at a beachside suburb in Adelaide's south. The victim, a 63-year-old man, was in his car at the corner of Roy Terrace and Gulfview Road, Christies Beach, when he was approached by a group of people, including one who was riding a scooter, around 5pm yesterday. Police said the man with a scooter allegedly threw it at the victim's car, smashing the driver's side window before launching into a vicious assault.
