Some conversations are too important to leave unspoken.
The Lioness in the Darkness partners with schools, libraries, and community spaces to help families and students navigate the digital world, emotional safety, and real-life challenges with clarity and care.
We don’t come in with noise.
We come in with tools, language, and space to breathe.
• Elementary, Middle, & High Schools
• School Districts
• Libraries
• Youth Programs & Community Organizations
• Family-centered events and spaces
If your space supports people - you’re in the right place.
Youth Writing Opportunities
Programs like the Den of the Lionhearted Summer Writing Contest give students a safe, structured way to express real experiences, reflect on change, and build confidence in their voice.
Trauma-Informed Conversations
We provide tools and guided language to help adults and teens talk about:
• Online safety
• Emotional harm
• Boundaries
• Real-world challenges that don’t always have easy words
Family Connection Resources
Our work helps families move from:
“I don’t know how to bring this up”
to
“We can talk about this together.”
Safe Space Presence (Events & Booths)
At community events, we create calm, grounding spaces where people can pause, breathe, reflect, and access resources without overwhelm.
Student Assemblies (In Development)
The Lioness Assembly
Pause. Think. Choose. — Real Talk for a Digital World
We are developing school-based assemblies designed to meet students where they are - without fear or overwhelm.
This experience will help students:
• Navigate digital safety and online awareness
• Understand emotional impact and self-protection
• Recognize red flags and trust their instincts
• Reflect, rather than shut down or disengage
Designed to be age-appropriate, grounded, and real. This is not just a presentation.
It’s a space for awareness, clarity, and connection.
Everything we offer is designed to meet people where they are - without pressure, without judgment.
Students are growing up in a world that moves fast—and doesn’t always explain itself.
Families are trying to keep up without always having the tools or language.
And too often, the most important conversations happen too late—or not at all.
We exist to help change that.
Not through fear.
Through awareness, connection, and trust.
• Trauma-informed, not fear-based
• Age-aware and developmentally appropriate
• Focused on connection, not control
• Designed to support—not overwhelm
• Built from real experiences, not just theory
This work doesn’t talk at people.
It creates space for them to think, feel, and respond.
We would love to connect with you.
Partnership opportunities may include:
• Bringing the writing contest to your students
• Sharing resources with your families
• Hosting a conversation, event, or future student assembly
• Collaborating on community initiatives

We’ll meet you where you are and figure out what works best - together.
The goal isn’t to have perfect conversations.
It’s to have real ones before they’re needed most.
We’re here when you’re ready.
