After discovering the Light Guardian inside of an Antique Charm she was given, she took up the quest of defeating the Dark Lord, as asked of by the Light Guardian.
Our dastardly antagonist. The Lord of Darkness that has mysteriously risen from the shadows of Karkaton to plunge the land of Asoulin into everlasting darkness and despair. He possesses the Dark ability to reap the souls of the living and use them to fuel his fiendish army of monsters.
Niko is a boy who's a cunning thief when the mood strikes. He's rather a laid-back fellow but don't underestimate his skills in stealth and thievery. He is probably the world's greatest thief. Who's concealed his identity from Asoulin for the longest time. He grew up in his home village, to where no one knew that he even lived there. He lived a comfortable and laid-back life. However with that, he grew lonely. When the Dark Lord launched an attack at his village, they subsequently destroyed it. Even his own home. No one survived but him. He had no choice but to leave everything behind. With no home to call his own, he wandered the Greenhorne Kingdom aimlessly, relying on his thief skills to fight monsters and eventually find a new home for himself.
Alessica is the name of a vampiric girl, a part of the only Vampire Family remaining in Asoulin living in Manor Macabre in Peculia. She was used by the Dark Lord to help create dangerous monsters. Keeping the presence darkness alive. She didn't think much or cared for the dark uprising of Asoulin. Unlike her family, who despised the humans that kept them cornered in that mansion, she grew to feel indifferent about humans. She had neither hatred nor love for them. However, seeing the chaos her creations caused, she had a change of heart that would change her life forever.
Sean was interested in becoming a mage after his first encounter with the Great Sage. Ever since then, he was the adopted son of the Great Sage. He became an apprentice to her and learned about magic, practicing spells and becoming a great mage to make Merlin proud. When Merlin caught word of the Dark Lord's attacks, her and Sean immediately went off to find him.
Sherry is a girl who got taken by the Dark Lord at a young age. She was forced against her will to merge with a monster of the darkness. After all that, the Dark Lord attempted to kill her, but she managed to escape. She spent 10 years slowly trying to assimilate into her imp form and slowly trek back to Greenhorne to find her brother.
Jay is a professional chef who worked at a popular Neksdorian restaurant. She worked there and learned how to become a fantastic cook. She also had plenty of close friends. Of which were slaughtered by the Dark Lord when he eventually attacked to harvest souls. Jay survived the attack but mourned her friends' dead bodies. At an absolute loss, she spends her days at the Western Oasis for moments of peace.
Jules is a college freshman in the prestigious Neksdor Academy of Science. However, deep down she's always had a courageous spirit. Yet she always lacked the brawn. An opportunity rose when the Dark Lord started invading the land of Neksdor. The fiends around the kingdom grew hostile and Jules wanted to research the reason and figure out a way to stop it. As well as take the opportunity to defeat the Dark Lord.
