Sherry and her twin brother Sean grew up together. Until one day, the Dark Lord kidnapped Sherry. 10 Years before the events of the Legend of Asoulin, the Dark Lord was experimenting on how he was going to build an army. Before he resorted to using souls, he collected a bunch of humans and tried merging them with monsters. Sherry was one of many of the Dark Lord's experiments. She was forced to merge with an imp, becoming a monster-cross-human hybrid that would eventually cause her to lose her humanity seemingly forever. Her memories were scattered and lost.
She was never the same girl after that. However, the memories that were the closest to her slowly started reattaching themselves. After the Dark Lord deemed the experiments as a failure, he tried to kill each specimen. Including Sherry. She was the only survivor, however. She managed to escape the Dark Lord's castle. While trying to further assimilate herself into her new form and practicing Dark Magic, her memories with Sean returned to her. She spent the following years slowly returning to Greenhorne, where she lived with Sean in order to find him again.
Along the way, she saved a girl who fell unconscious in the sand, and took her back to her temporary hut that Sherry lived in.
