Ever since Jay was younger, she was amazing at cooking. She was considered a prodigy in her art. So much so she managed to graduate early from culinary school and got a job at a popular Neksdorian restaurant. In that job, she made some great friends. Some she even grew close with. She was very successful and her career as a chef has barely started.
Everything changed when the Dark Lord chose to exact an attack on the restaurant rather than simply extract the souls of the people. He flew in and completely crushed the restaurant. Him and his monsters attacked the place. At the end, Jay was one of the only survivors of the attack. But she saw all of her friends' dead bodies. The sight traumatized her. She lost everything. Her career came to a screeching halt. She wondered if she was even supposed to survive that attack. But she did and she can't do anything about it. Thus, she went to the Western Oasis close to the restaurant. She didn't even want to go back home. She assumed her family thought she was dead and maybe it was time to start new.
She went to the Western Oasis to find peace in the heat of the desert. She eventually met the Roaming Gourmet, which traveled the world tasting delectable cuisine from around the world and completely fawning over it. She cooked food for him and he adored it so much so she was originally meant to travel with him. That was until Alexis came and Jay wanted to get revenge on the Dark Lord more than anything. So she followed Alexis and became a part of Alexis' new party.
Jay could be considered a prodigy in culinary arts. It was her passion ever since she was young. She can cook up a delicious meal that can help heal her teammates as well as use her frying pan to burn and hurt her enemies. The truth is, she's only this well performing due to her hard work and her culinary magic. With this, she can summon any ingredients she wants to cook just about anything and she can manipulate the heat on her frying pan to help cook.
