A burst of excitement filled the air at Laurel Hill Elementary School as we welcomed a new group of eager kindergarteners before their first day of school. To make the transition smoother, we organized a fun-filled popsicle party on the playground.
As the little ones arrived, they were greeted with smiling faces and colorful popsicles. The event provided an opportunity for the new students to meet some of their classmates and teachers in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The popsicle party also helped to ease any anxiety or nervousness that the children might have been feeling.
"We wanted to create a welcoming and memorable experience for our new kindergarteners," said one of the kindergarten teachers. "The popsicle party was a great way to introduce them to the school community and help them feel comfortable and excited about their new adventure."
They even got to meet Leo the Lion!
