Last May we summarized the building works in the Navan South locations highlighted on the map. We return to see what progress has been made and look at the new ones which are either under construction, in planning for change, or simply having an impact on our environment.

The Navan bridge, closed for the entire summer, has now reopened albeit with closures expected for the works to be completed bu year end.

Our local and newly named St Martha's Bridge certainly received it's fair share of the traffic diverted from the Kentstown Road.

Having started in our part of Navan 8 months ago most of the core infrastructure work has been completed. Occasionally some areas outside homes are being revisited but essentially the tubes and fibre cable in Navan South have now been laid.

We've not yet heard about any local homes receiving offers to connect their homes to the new SIRO network but we are expecting this together with the 'go live' date to be this year.

After a pause of several years the majority of the final phase located the far end of the estate, nearest the Kentstown Road, is now nearing completion. The show home opened in May.
