A tribute I put together to honor my late Father
And here is the letter he wrote to his parents describing the signing of the peace treaty with Japan. I didn't even know this existed until after he passed. It made me more proud than ever of him. I was proud already but, this chokes me up every time I read it and I never get tired of reading it. You see, he had tried and tried to get into the regular Navy and couldn't because of health issues until the war broke out and then they took whomever they could. God Bless this USA.
