Blake Chapter Ambassador

Emily is a junior at James Hubert Blake High School. Emily started a chapter of the Helping Hands Organization at Blake HS to become an advocate for disadvantaged groups in the DMV area that are commonly overlooked. Some of Emily's hobbies include dancing, traveling, cooking, and playing field hockey. She hopes that the Blake HS Helping Hands Chapter will grow into a group of students who prioritize serving and giving back to the community.

Outreach Development Coordinator

Quynhan is a sophomore at James Hubert Blake High School. Quynhan joined the Helping Hands Organization as she saw she was given an opportunity to give back to the community and be a hand for people that could use extra help. She hopes that as the organization grows and more people join, we will have a stronger impact on the community and be able to help as many people as possible. Some of Quynhan's likes are fashion, journaling, baking, and painting.

Ruba is a junior at James Hubert Blake High School. Ruba joined the Helping Hands Organization because she admires the organization's mission and loves that it gives her the chance to strengthen her community and make it a better place. Ruba enjoys reading, gardening, and singing. She hopes that this organization grows so that we can all make a significant impact on disadvantaged lives in our community and in general.

Peggy is a senior at James Hubert Blake High School. Peggy joined the Helping Hands Organization because she wanted to have the opportunity to help people that are in need, especially during this time. Some of Peggy's hobbies include dance, painting, and reading a good book. She can't wait for the organization to continue growing!

Jennifer is a senior at James Hubert Blake High School. Jennifer joined the Helping Hands Organization to learn more about our diverse community so that she can be a proactive advocate for those who need support. She's excited to be apart of an organization that can give back and help bridge the gap for disadvantaged and minority groups in the community. Jennifer enjoys camping, baking, journaling and playing tennis.
