1) Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) - required for all volunteers

• Applicants who reside in Toronto can complete the VSC online and there is a cost of $20

2) If you completed a VSC last school year

• If you already submitted your VSC to the TDSB last year, this year you only need to complete the Volunteer Annual Offence Declaration.

• The form can be printed, signed, and handed to your child’s teacher or the office.

3) Important follow-up for last year’s VSC results
Some families received their VSC result last year but did not complete the final step of submitting it to the TDSB. Please check that you did the following:

• Please email your VSC result to the TDSB Police Reference Check Office at policereferencecheckoffice@tdsb.on.ca with this statement included in your message:
  “This is a copy of the original and has not been altered in any way.”
