Located on the Coastal plain of Texas and nestled in the heart of Beaumont, The Grand Hotel Spindletop & Event Center stands as a testament to the city's rich history of Lumber, Rice Milling, and the discovery of oil at Spindletop Hill on January 10, 1901, that sparked an oil boom in Texas. Located just 85 miles East of Houston and 30 miles North of the Gulf of America. 

Built in 1978 as a Sheraton Motor Hotel, and in 2018, we became The Grand Hotel Spindletop. This family-owned and operated establishment has witnessed the ebb and flow of Beaumont's dynamic landscape. Its distinctive Spanish-style architecture, characterized by stucco walls and rustic charm, offers guests a unique departure from the conventional lodging experience.

Over the decades, 2525 N. 11th Street has been more than just a place to rest; it's been a cornerstone of local entertainment. In the 1990s, the hotel was home to the infamous Scandals Nightclub, a hotspot that drew both locals and visitors for unforgettable nights of music and dance. The hotel's allure was such that it attracted legendary performers, including Prince and ZZ Top, adding a touch of star-studded glamour to Beaumont's nightlife. 

Today, The Grand Hotel Spindletop continues to embrace its storied past while providing guests with comfortable and affordable accommodations. We are nothing fancy, and we live by the saying "Don't judge us from the outside, come on in." The serene ambiance offers a peaceful retreat, allowing travelers to unwind and feel at home. Beyond its vintage charm, comfy beds, and warm Texas hospitality, the hotel boasts the expansive Grand Royal Ballroom, accommodating up to 800 guests, and six additional versatile event spaces. These facilities make it an ideal choice for gatherings, meetings, and celebrations, all set against a backdrop of timeless character and genuine Texas hospitality.
