#10. Nightmare Moon - (BFDI 22)
I'd just like to take this moment to celebrate the fact we have reached the top 10 of theFunny55s! It's truly been a monumental journey, and it won't have a weak finish. So with that, I bring you the article at the top 10.
I decided the best way to start the top 10 of theFunny55s would be to write about arguably the best monologue in the show.
It wouldn't be this one
So before we get to the actual monologue, we need to introduce the character who would be delivering it.
Pees in your garden
That's right, this monologue was delivered by none other than Flower.
Any scene with Flower in it is bound to be good.
So lets give some background as to what lead up to this monologue.
Basically all you need to know is Flower gets mad at every contestant still in the game.
"Hey Flower! Have you seen my pills? I need them to stay alive"
"Hey Flower! Did you know that I'm nicer than you? I have the proof on a spreadsheet"
"Hey Flower, should I tell my parents I'm adopted?"
"Does this outfit make me look fat?"
"Did you know I can outrun an antelope in under thirty seconds?"
"I think you should start wearing makeup"
"Did you know I'm legally blind in the dark?"
"What would happen if I put a humidifier and a dehumidifier in the same room and let them battle it out?"
"HI I'M TENNIS BALL! DID YOU KNOW THAT BEES AND DOGS CAN SMELL FEAR?!"
"I wish I still owned my Announcer Crusher"
"Crushing did you say?"
And at this point, she is playing by herself.
There is no one left in the game that Flower can actually get along with and enjoy talking to.
So when the next contest arrives. And as usual, Flower has no one to agree with.
"It's time for the next contest!"
And as usual the two replacement speaker boxes fail to work together.
So the decide to hold a vote.
"My vote overrules all of yours so-"
So already, the contest has began. And Flower isn't getting along with the rest of her fellow contestants.
"Seriously, can I strangle them yet?"
And when the challenge begins.
There isn't much of a change of pace for her.
Quick sidenote: this is what I like to call the 'Second Rocky Memorial Challenge".
Since this one is obviously the first
I call the volcano challenge the Rocky Memorial challenge since the challenge involves swimming across a sea of melted Rocky.
"Bitte verschmelze mich nicht zu einem vulkan"
Okay and now back to the challenge.
Right away, things are back to normal for Flower.
Everyone is still annoying her
It even gets worse as the two hosts drop them out of a spaceship.
Hosts: Ready?
Bubble: Not quite, I can't find a parachute
Flower: Good, I don't want you to have one
Firey: I wonder if there's anything more comfortable than sleeping in a bathtub
And now is where the challenge begins. And Flower gets more and more annoyed.
"That landing was awful! Why isn't Spongy fatter?!"
So the contest begins as usual. And I love this upcoming scene so much.
As Leafy and Flower stand accross the pit of lava, this funny exchange happens.
Flower needs to test the lava
She decides it's a few degrees too warm for her
Flower: I need to fix that thermostat!
And then Leafy shoves her in
"Once you get your head under, you will feel much better"
But these are all semantics. Since now we get to the scene you've all been waiting for.
It's a four way race between Firey, Leafy, Bubble, and Flower.
And it's time for Flower to make her epic comeback.
Except you have to account for one thing.
Flower isn't the best with her words
Now she may not have the quirky speech patterns of Snowball
Or the incoherent babbling of Bubble
Or the mile-a-minute nonsense of Dora
Or the inability to be interesting like Ice Cube
No, Flower just had a way of speaking where she doesn't have the best phrasing skill. If there are two options on how to word a sentence. Flower will always pick the version that's more awkward.
Don't belive me? I think it's time for some examples.
"I'm not going to JUMP onto it!"
The true words of a poet...
So that brings us to the monologue. Which I will cover in extreme detail.
"Haha!"
"I'm gonna beat you!"
"I'm gonna beat all of you"
"And I'm gonna go on..."
"...and win Dream Island!"
"And uh"
*Grimace*
"You're not!"
*Mouth twitch*
"You're gonna get the..."
"... uh opposite of Dream Island"
"Uhhh"
*Spit crackle*
*Stutter*
"D-Dream?"
"Nightmare!"
*Pause*
"Nightmare Moon!"
*Chomp*
*Hiss*
And that is the greatest monologue BFDI has ever seen.
A perfect piece of bizzare word choices, stuttering, mistakes, and then eventually being eaten by a fire monster.
"What even is a nightmare moon?"
Aparrently it is related to My Little Pony.
But I will NOT be showing that TV show in my article.
So without a doubt, that is the greatest monologue BFDI has ever delivered.

P.P.P.S. Fun fact about this article: It was actually never planned to make it on this list. The original idea which had been scrapped was for me to write about the argument between YellowFace and Golf Ball in BFDIA 4.
I decided to scrap the idea since I had basically written about it in The Downfall of Team No Name article, which you can read here.
So I decided it was time to search for a topic which I really had forgotten about until a few articles ago. I am so thankful I managed to catch it, since I forgot how much I absolutley loved this scene.
