The Filipino-American Association of Kitsap County is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization. The tax ID number is 65-1249301.

Our mission is to promote, preserve, and share the heritage and culture of the Philippines; and to promote friendship and understanding between the Filipino and non-Filipino people of Kitsap County. To that end, we host events celebrating the diverse ethnic groups from the Philippines.

Every month, in partnership with Chuckwagon and Meals on Wheels, we host an Asian Pacific Islander Senior Outreach Luncheon. This is our way to honor and visit seniors in our community. Please do join us in this important social outreach for our community.

Every February, we partner with Habitat for Humanity of Kitsap County, whose former president Daryl Daugs is a lifetime member of ours. Together we host a dinner/dance/silent auction event to benefit both organizations.

One of our board members, Carl Jakobssen, is an active volunteer for the NAACP chapter in Bremerton. He often lets us know about community events. We will pass that information on to our members on Carl's behalf. Please click here for more information.

As many of our members are or have family members who are immigrants, we have recently formed a friendship with the people from Kitsap Immigrant Assistance Center here in Bremerton. You can visit their family services event website directly by clicking here.
