MECHANICS
MECHANICS
You can learn Fight Point's most difficult and effective mechanic, the "audio mechanic" system.
Basically. The GM plays a sound. That sound has a specific meaning. It can indicate something about the next attack or the active effect. Warning the player about what's coming or what’s happening. The player must react accordingly. The sounds and their meanings can be found in the info boxes of each sound effect in the play tool, soundboard tab.
Of course, mechanics are not only audio-based; there are also just as many general mechanics. You can use the Discord server to learn these:
A character has a chance to dream in their sleep; there is no easy way to tell if the dream they had is real or not.
Boss fights have a special "boss health" mechanic.
Each boss generally has a different number of health bars; however many health bars there are, all of them must be depleted.
As explained in the audio mechanics, when a boss bar is finished, a "critical opening" is heard, and landing a critical strike transitions the boss to the next phase.
Of course, there isn't always a rule that it must transition with a "critical opening," but it usually does.
When you enter a boss fight, a boss having one health bar does not necessarily mean it only has one; some bosses hide their health, and the next ones only appear after the first bar is depleted. There is no way to guess how many bars a foe with a single boss health bar truly has.
In some important battles, an area effect called "battle fog" appears. As long as this area is active, you cannot exit from inside, but you can enter from outside. The battle fog cannot be lifted until the boss is defeated.
EXP, which enables gaining levels, can only be obtained from battles and quest rewards.
When a boss is defeated, everyone who participated in the fight against the boss gains an equal amount of EXP, but the player party must divide the boss loot among themselves.
Dealing the final blow or dealing the most damage is not very important.
Remember, this is a team game (and also a game where everything is free; the only thing stopping you from betraying others is your ethical perception).
There are some mechanics in the game that cannot be blocked.
Like unblockable attacks or critical openings.
Special enemy types, although not explained in the game, may have abilities that block these. One of the main experiences of Fight Point is that you can constantly encounter things outside your expectations.
Achievements have their own levels and are indicated by their own sounds. High-level achievements allow you to earn titles (roles) in the Discord server you are in, and these roles have height tiers.
When levels from one to ten are gained, the character's Ultimate ability is unlocked at level ten.
Every level after ten will be improved versions of the first ten abilities, but every ultimate level opens a new ultimate. (10, 20, 30, 40, 50, etc.)
The details of abilities are explained to players when they are acquired.

Your interaction with yourself and the world around you. You must always pay attention to what your perceptions are telling you.
Depending on your character's capacity, traits, and external conditions, using your perceptions can provide you with extra information.
The mind can produce logic on various subjects.
Vision can highlight small details you hadn't noticed.
Your feelings can provide you with instant, detailed information about your character.
And many similar things. They can be understood through their own unique sound effects. Your character's mental state/stress can affect their perceptions.

Although dice-less gameplay is one of Fight Point's signature features, there are some mechanics that can utilize dice.
If your character attempts to question or figure something out, you may roll a 20-sided die. If the roll is successful, you will receive in-game information.
Your character will "remember" or "piece together" this information. This is why it is important for the topics to be relevant to your character. Characters with 2 dice have the Inquiry trait for any subject that has just been introduced and is relevant to them. For example, if something you don't know about "alchemy" is mentioned, and your character is someone who deals with alchemy, you can make an Inquiry Check.
