President (Aubrey Hankin): Runs the group and manages other board members. Runs meetings and must be an in-person member. Makes sure that events run smoothly, and works with the Event Planner to execute the planning and communication with other organizations if needed. Assigns tasks to the rest of the board. Vice President (Serafina Delgass): When not available, the vice president runs meetings and takes over the President’s duties. Mainly runs the website, but the Social Media Manager can help. The Vice president can run activities in meetings. Runs the Slack channel and any communication within the organization. Takes over as secretary if the role is absent. (needs to send in a recommendation)
Secretary: Takes notes during meetings and makes sure that ideas are organized in a way that can be helpful and used for the rest of the board members. Good with google drive (folders, labeling documents, formatting). Should be very focused during the meetings and rarely absent. Keeps track of attendance and sends it to the President and Vice President at each meeting. (needs to send in a recommendation)
Treasurer: Would manage fundraisers and would keep track of the money in the organization. Must be good with math and must be very organized (writes everything out, and math cannot just be in the treasurer’s head, they must keep a record of every calculation). Calculates how much money the group will need for each event and for general necessities.
Constituency Chair: Makes new people interested in joining the organization. Plans social events for the group to bond. Must be upbeat and excited to get the group to connect and be a team.
Social Media Manager (Lara Teehan-Donnelly): Manages socials including Instagram, Tiktok, and Facebook. Posts must be approved by the President, and the Social Media Manager must have a schedule for posting and very often online. Must understand the algorithm of the apps they run. Must be good and comfortable at making infographics.
Event Coordinator: Reaches out to other organizations to collaborate with (must research organizations and check with the president and vice president if the organization is someone good to partner with). Helps plan dates for events and the organization of each event. Must be good with planning and making sure that their plans are executed well and run smoothly. Must be ready to have a heavy role with a lot of outside work. Must be good at writing professional emails and representing the group in a responsible manner. (needs to send in a recommendation)
