SOAR residencies are all closed with a self-portrait drawing session in which students are asked to visualize themselves as artists. In this exercise, students are encouraged to see themselves as creative beings making art in the ways they want to make it! What would they paint or draw? Would their art have a message? Where would they be creating? Their room? Outdoors? Below are a few such expressions.

In light of the pandemic, many students were missing the Tucson Rodeo!

In this collection, students celebrated Tucson's iconic Rodeo days by designing their own boots.
