Hi, I'm The Digital Holistic Therapist

I'm Deborah, The Digital Holistic Therapist, based in England, Great Britain. This portfolio brings together my education and training in domestic abuse and violence, sexual violence, rape and exploitation. 

There are also a range of Holistic therapy courses for information and professional development, however this site is dedicated to trauma through domestic abuse and violence... 

My aim is to educate, raise awareness and support victims, survivors and thrivers, while providing educational resources for the professionals and services supporting those affected by abuse, violence and trauma.

Through courses, research-informed writing, professional resources and case-study work, I explore domestic abuse and violence through psychological, sociological, neurobiological, legal, safeguarding and recovery perspectives.

This portfolio provides a home for that work, including my courses, professional articles and the longitudinal case study, Hold My Hand as We Cross the Road.

At its heart is a commitment to greater understanding, informed professional practice and better support for those affected by abuse and violence.
