This week we discussed how the revolutionary CRISPR editing system can be modified in order to silence specific alleles, making it an excellent tool to study cell pathways and model disease genetics.

Mol/Cell Biology: Huntington's Disease

This week we discussed how Al-Ramahi et al. (2017) discovered that blocking a compound, PIP4Ky, reduced the accumulation of mutant huntingtin protein in Huntington's disease.
