Do you feel like dancing? Exploring free, intuitive movement in a caring and safe space? Releasing your emotions, your self-expression through the body and feeling its healing and regenerative power?
Free Movement is coming to Valais! Starting November 26, 2025, every Wednesday from 7:30 to 9:30 pm, at the Pavillon Platta in Sion, Joyleen and Pauline will facilitate either the 5Rhythms, either Free Movement Practice, open to everyone, regardless of age, background, or physical condition.
There is no need to “know how to dance” — all you need is a body and the desire to reconnect with it through movement.

Certified as a 5Rhythms teacher since 2021, Joyleen has been dedicated to the development of the dance community in Geneva since 2015 and in Nyon since 2020.
For nearly 10 years, she has been producing movement practice facilitators every week and also offers her own sessions. She is the founder of the Dancing Tribe, created in 2023.
Joyleen loves creating spaces for transformation, accessing the multicolored palettes of our souls by fostering a deep connection to ourselves through dance.
In love with dance from a very young age, I first practiced traditional collective dances before discovering 5Rhythms and Contact Improvisation in South Africa at the age of 20.
For the past six years, I have been exploring different branches of free dance in Europe and beyond, learning from teachers rooted in 5Rhythms, Open Floor, and Life/Art Process, while also training in improvisational theatre — a field in which I love to build bridges with dance.
All of these practices have deeply nourished me and offered precious tools for personal growth and self-healing.
I am delighted to now offer my own free dance practice, inspired by these rich teachings, to provide everyone with a space to explore their relationship with themselves and others, and to rediscover the joy of fully inhabiting their body.
We come together to practice Conscious Movement practices.
We are drug- and alcohol-free.
We are adults responsible for our own wellbeing.
We are aware of and respect each others’ bodies and boundaries.
We touch only with mutual consent.
We dance barefoot, in grippy socks or soft dance shoes.
We avoid synthetic perfumes.
We turn our phones off.
We do not take photos/video or use Shazam.
We communicate using movement not words.
We participate, we do not spectate.
We start and end our dance journey together.
