Comments:

I’m Ángel Alberto Rodríguez Serrano a freelance Latin and ballroom dance instructor. Dancing and instructing are my passions. I currently instruct Salsa, Salsa Rueda and basic ballroom dances at The Dance Space, Tangueros LC Dance Studio, Rigby’s Jig Dance Studio and Stony Point live 360 Studio.

I train new dancers in various ballroom and Latin dances for local fundraisers to compete in the Dancing with the Richmond Stars and to celebrate life in the Pink Tie Gala. I am and always will be a dance student. If I can be of service feel free to contact me.

My style of instruction has been described as friendly, entertaining & funny, but you'll be the judge of that.

My instruction emphasizes how to lead and follow a dance partner.

My goal is to give you the self confidence you need to be able to dance with anyone.

She added a few years of Ballet, Jazz, Modern, and Afro-Carribean in college to shore up her dance technique and now practices those forms in conjunction with her Ballroom Dancing to deliver theatrical, story-driven pieces. She loves working with dancers of all ages and experience levels, because dancing is "such a connecting experience. It is the most accepting you can be of a person, to dance and create art together."

Chelsea has trained at Fred Astaire with Robert Eisenbach, Amy's Dance Studio with Amy Hontos and Rick Zilonka, and Blue Light Ballroom with Terry Dean, Tara McGough, and Taylor Moore. She is a patient teacher who believes in building your dancing from the ground up and having a blast doing it. No rhythm? No problem!
