I've been the school counselor at Shaw Elementary since the fall of 2015. Prior to that, I taught Special Education at Shaw for eight years. I’m married and I have eight children and all but one (still in daycare) have attended this school that I love so much. I love supporting the families here and finding ways to partner with them to ensure their child’s success at school. I teach a guidance lesson to each class once a month, as well as meet with students individually, or in small groups. I can also help connect families to necessary community resources.
