There are 21 cards in the major arcana of a tarot deck. These cards can represent the major life events, people, and represent the zodiac signs more than the minor arcana and face/court cards.
On the left is a carousel of all 21 cards from the fool (0) to the world card (21), swipe left to view. A majority of these google images are from the Rider Waite Smith tarot images, and a select few from another older version, because not all could be found...
Below is a video of a reliable youtuber explaining the tarot meanings...

Here's part 1, 2, and 3 to the Major Arcana Cards...Their Channel also has parts to learn the minor arcana in addition to my interpretation and walk through...
When you have your tarot deck it will most likely come with a guidebook that has keywords that you can go along with. Yes you can learn tarot systematically, but when practicing and training your intuitions strength it's best to sit with each card and journal what the symbolism means to you.
Some have practiced drawing a card a day, to then later see how the meaning of the card is applicable throughout the day and how it has been mirrored, in addition to journaling.
Sometimes it's best to look at the pictures in motion, imagine the cards are a scene to describe. When looking at more than one card connect them like a picture book, pay attention to where the figures in the cards are facing, for example a court card facing another or facing head on.
As for reversals this varies and depends on the reader. Some may intentionally shuffle in reversed cards and some may leave them all upright and take reversals that land reversed if their shuffling technique is to shuffle for jumper cards. How reversals are interpreted also depends on the reader. Some may take that as the opposite meaning of the upright, the negative meaning of the upright, or the same meaning but the other meaning too. This part of tarot is also up to you.
The Celtic Cross Spread: (Which the creator above also has youtube videos on)
• Card 1- Significator: person asking the question, or the situation...card that whole reading is about. If reading for self about self, card is about situation (example, job). Reflects energy in current/present state. Or persons preception.
• Card 2- Cross: the energy that's crossing or interfering with the energy and/or situation trying to read...either crossing entire situation or reading (depends on reading context).
• Card 3- Conscious: "as above so below", the card placed "above"...all things aware of in that moment. aware of or knows is happening in that situation. shows what the person is actually actively working towards. possibly might show conscious end goal, and focus point at that time.
• Card 4- Subconscious: "as above, so below". the card placed below. all of the underlying energy that is contributing to the situation. energy not particularly aware of, that subliminally effects things that are going on. unaware, underlying energy that affects the whole energetic current. needs more attention and focus. can show secret drivers/motives to a situation; motivation to why-unaware past decision...
• Card 5- Near past: previous energy they're bringing in or the karmic energy bringing into a situation affecting the situation at present. old manifestation currently happening.
• Card 6- Near Future: Not final outcome, next step of the journey, not completion. if negative card answer to that would the obstacle to achieve example goal. not set in stone, free will, can change path.
• Card 7- attitude: how usually the person precieves/views a situation, their outword expression. example: if person looks worried but card is positive, it shows their outward expression is a more positive attitude than actual emotion...attitude towards situation. attitude effects how of manifestations....vice versa if negative...could lie and say one thing but card would say another...coach it through...say one thing but feel another...
*what the person you're reading says, what the tarot says, and what the person you're reading feels.*
• Card 8- Environment: external influences/energy. people, energy, or circumstances, that are affecting the final outcome. somtimes out of persons control. who or what is affecting the circumstances...external things; example timing, not supposed happen-like if hanged man comes out or temperance, stillness, wait a bit etc.
• Card 9- hopes, dreams, & fears: hope or fear will happen. hope and fear are 2 sides of the same spectrum. hope and fear can also be the same for people; if they fear it, may present it from happening- focused so much fear manifest...if it's a hopeful card or fear card to differ...
• Card 10- Final outcome: shows what's going to happen if you continue on current course of action. [change].
