“Petko Rachov Slaveikov” is a secondary school with 409 students ( 38 are with special educational needs), from the age 5 to 18 years. 68% of students are from the town and 32% are from the rural areas. The students study English – as first language and German, French and Russian as second language.
Our goal is to provide challenging learning environment and appropriate conditions for our students, for their current and future needs. Since we are in economically backward area, Secondary school “S.R.Slaveikov” aims to prepare well-educated and trained students, who are capable, social active and adaptive to changes imposed by a dynamic society. The school’s mission is to build identity and individuality in students by encouraging national and European values. That can be done by developing flexible training models in accordance with national and European standards, which ensure rapid social and professional realization of graduates in the labor market and through participation in projects.
Teachers constantly improve themselves on current problems of the educational system, looking for innovative working methods and enhance their professional experience.
From 2013 secondary school “Slaveikov” is a pilot school and the only one with admission after 7 grade in entrepreneurship education and business, with intensive English learning in the region. This program is supported by “Junior Achievement”.
Our school was founded in 1905, and, nowadays, it is named after the famous painter Djordje Krstic (1851-1907).
There are 1263 students (aged 7-15) in the school, 83 teachers and additional staff.

The teachers involved in the project can work with Windows programmes, use the Internet and other IT, Prezi, Google disc. We are good at planning, team workers and creative.
Our school has organised several conferences and hosted numerous competitions in different subjects.
At the moment we are starting our work on one of the projects of Erasmus +.
The students involved in the project are 12-15 years old, very curious and creative, willing to take part in any interesting activity. Other students are aged 7-15.
Our students study English and Russian, as well as Serbian (mother tongue) and literature. They also study Math, Biology, Physics, History, Geography, Music, Art, Craft, IT and P.E..
They are experienced in Power Point presentations, MS Office, Scratch and the Internet.
We did not have any projects in the last three years.
School no. 3 is an educational institution founded in 1891 as ”The School for Girls and The School for Boys” and the building was finished in 1907, today being declared as a historical monument. It is formed of four buildings settled around The Water Tower, an old historical and architectural monument.
School number 3 is a secondary school in the public education system, with 516 students both in primary level ( preparatory class- 4th grade) and secondary level ( 5th- 8th grade), aged between 6 and 14 and with 45 teachers. The school makes great effort to offer all of them equal chances in education, to give them a fair chance in life. On this thought, our school`s motto is: ”Live with us the life you have imagined!”
The instructive- educational process is organized in such a way that when completing the eighth grade, the students have gained knowledge, competence and social values which could allow them to be integrated in the high/secondary schools in our town. We try to establish a bridge between school and the socio-economic conditions- local, national and European- in which our pupils live, and moreover, conditions in which our students are going to be integrated.
Our school is involved in many national projects ( Spring Day, Eco-School- having received the distinction `The Green Flag` twice, School-MASTop- having received the Top School Award in Science objects). We also have partnerships with the local public institutions.
Vienna Association of Educational Volunteers is a non-profit making, non-political organization, which aims at the exchange of innovative teaching history knowledge, promoting new training methods among different countries along the river Danube, through assisting teachers, students and parents in acquiring new abilities, for example, the development of creativity, sense of initiative and knowledge of foreign cultures.
Our main aim is to provide the exchange of educational methods and experiences; training teachers and leaders committed to education and social inclusion; contributing to the process of transformation and improvement of the European teaching by providing professional competences, personal skills development such as trust, responsibility and taking decisions.
Our vision is to provide a non-formal education, based on sharing of opportunities and experience related to schooling but not only, to give to educators, tutors and pedagogues a chance to improve their teaching skills, to learn modern techniques to be able to guide students/pupils along a career path and social and vocational life.
Vienna Association of Educational Volunteers promotes training and implementation of systems relevant to the support of the young people. It cooperates with social and educational sector organizations to promote changes and improvements of services.
The scope of the association is to provide flexible non-formal education programs in various fields within the framework of lifelong learning. It has oriented its services toward the main guidelines and priorities stressed out by the European Commission. Main focus is given to skills training and initiatives that will enable students to be active in their future social and vocational life.
The school is located in Osijek, the largest city in eastern Croatia and the seat of Osijek-Baranja county. Osijek has population of 90000 inhabitants. Primary school „Tin Ujević“, Osijek, is a public school attended by pupils from the age 7 to 15. Today it counts 483 pupils, approx. 50 teachers and the support staff. This school is active in many fields, thus accessible for pupils of different interests. Our students' parents are often military retirees (after Homeland War) and families are faced with yet unresolved war issues. Some students' families struggle with social problems (broken families, parents working abroad, families facing poverty, minimum motivation for school and helping kids to school integration). We are proud to work with children with special educational needs; the professional team with assistants in the classroom create a positive atmosphere.
Since 1993 our school has had UNESCO label along with only a dozen schools in Croatia.
Stredná priemyselná škola dopravná - The Secondary technical school of transport is situated in Bratislava, the capital city of Slovakia. This education is offered in full-time four-year study courses and these are available in two specialisations focused on road transport. There are 340 students in 10 classes. The school belongs to the biggest secondary vocational schools in the capital city.
Students are not only from Bratislava, they commute from nearby small towns and villages. Their study is divided into theoretical and practical classes. Theoretical study is realized at school and the practical study is organized in school laboratories or in external cooperation. The graduates of all specialisations comply with the requirements of qualification which is needed to conduct business in road transport according to law about road transport and they can also continue their studies at university.
