The Buttercross Belles are running a series of Ladies’ Morris Dancing Taster Classes for Beginners, Free of Charge, on Thursday evenings throughout September 2025 at their new practice venue.
You will learn some easy traditional dance steps in the North West style as well as a popular communal dance. The Belles will also demonstrate additional dances from our current repertoire, allowing you to experience the full flavour of what we do. You will also learn some interesting snippets of folklore on how our dances connect us to our textile industry and Suffragette Movement heritage!!
