Thank you so much for your interest in helping The Bobo Project grow and thrive. As a volunteer, you are directly helping spread awareness about addiction, therefore helping lessen the stigma that surrounds the topic. To volunteer, you have to be older than 14 and are currently in/was in high school.
Chapters help us expand our reach, allowing us to spread awareness about addiction to even more communities. As a chapter president, you are expected to recruit members/volunteers, give seminars on addiction to those in your community, and plan/oversee public relations within your community.
A large part of our mission is spreading information about the psychological, biological, and socioeconomic reasons behind addiction. We do this through the use of articles, where we use a combination of secondary research and interviews from professionals to demonstrate the complexities of addiction. This is only possible because of professionals who are willing to take time out of their busy schedules to answer questions surrounding the topic of addiction. If you are a professional in the field of psychology or sociology, and you would like to contribute to our organization, please fill out the google form.
