The Black Accord is an independent community organisation dedicated to celebrating artistic excellence within the miniature painting hobby. Through online competitions, collaborative events, and educational initiatives, our aim is to encourage creativity, skill development, and the sharing of knowledge across the international painting community.
Our inaugural competition brings together painters from around the world to create collaborative entries that showcase technical ability, storytelling, and artistic cohesion. While we are still establishing ourselves, we are committed to building a respected and welcoming platform that recognises both established and emerging artists.
As a community-led project, sponsor support allows us to assemble meaningful prize bundles, reward exceptional work, and continue investing in future events. Every contribution, regardless of size, directly benefits the painters who make the competition possible.
We recognise that community competitions cannot always offer the same level of exposure as large commercial events. Instead, we aim to build genuine, long-term relationships with companies that share our passion for the miniature painting hobby.
Sponsors will receive recognition through a combination of the following:
- A dedicated acknowledgement on our Sponsors page, including your logo and a link to your website.
- Recognition across our competition website as a prize sponsor.
- Mentions during winner announcements and prize reveals on our social media platforms.
- Recognition within our Discord community throughout the competition.
- The opportunity for your products to be featured as part of curated prize bundles awarded to our winners.
- Where appropriate, honest discussion and demonstration of your products by organisers and judges throughout the competition.
As a growing community event, we believe it's important to be transparent. We cannot promise large-scale commercial exposure or guaranteed sales. What we can offer is authentic engagement with a passionate community of miniature painters who value quality products and appreciate the companies that actively support their hobby.
Our ambition is to build The Black Accord into a respected annual fixture within the miniature painting community, creating lasting partnerships with the businesses that help make it possible.
We Welcome a variety of sponsorshop contributions. Including:
Paints & Hobby supplies
Burshes & Tools
Gift Vouchers

In leui of physcial prize support, we'd also love to work with community members, companies and names in the hobby world, by way of discount codes, outreach, and collaboration going forward.
IIf you have another idea for supporting the competition, we'd be delighted to hear more from you.

Black Accord is proud to announce the launch of its inaugural Pairs Painting Competition, a new online miniature painting event designed to celebrate creativity, collaboration and craftsmanship.
Unlike traditional painting competitions, entrants will work in teams of two, with each painter completing a miniature connected through a shared theme. The judging panel will assess not only the quality of the individual pieces, but also how successfully they work together as a pair.
The competition has been created with the aim of fostering a welcoming and supportive community for miniature painters of all experience levels. Alongside recognising outstanding work, Black Accord hopes to encourage learning, artistic growth and collaboration within the hobby.
Entries open on 27.07.26-27.08.26, with winners announced on 07.09.26.
Black Accord is a new miniature painting community dedicated to promoting creativity, education and high-quality online competitions. Our goal is to create events that challenge painters, encourage collaboration and help hobbyists develop their skills through constructive feedback and community engagement.

Black Accord exists to celebrate miniature painting through creativity, learning, constructive feedback and friendly competition.
As organisers, our role is to judge the work submitted to our competitions and to provide a welcoming environment for everyone who takes part.
Black Accord does not endorse or adopt the personal political, social or religious views of our sponsors, judges, entrants or community members simply because they are involved with our events. Participation in Black Accord should not be interpreted as an endorsement of an individual's personal beliefs, nor should an individual's participation be taken as an endorsement of ours.
Our competitions are judged solely on the published judging criteria and the quality of the work submitted.
While we do not seek to police personal beliefs or opinions expressed outside of Black Accord, we do expect everyone participating in our competitions and community spaces to conduct themselves with respect. Harassment, abuse, discrimination, intimidation or behaviour that makes our community unwelcoming will not be tolerated and may result in removal from our events or community.
Our aim is to create an environment where painters from all backgrounds can come together to learn, improve and enjoy the hobby, united by a shared passion for miniature painting.
