The competition celebrates both technical painting skill and the ability to collaborate artistically across distance.
In online competitions, clear, well lit and honest representations of your work is key.
We are not looking for heavily edited images, special effects etc. Multiple clear images, from all angles, not designed to 'hide mistakes' or weaker areas are paramount. You need to stand by your work, warts & all!

Entries must be submitted by a team of two painters.
Each painter must complete roughly 50% of the final entry.
A painter may only participate in one team.
The final entry must consist of two miniatures or two clearly distinct components.
Each painter must paint their own assigned model/component.
Any miniature range, scale, or manufacturer is permitted unless otherwise specified.
Conversions, sculpting, kitbashing, and printed parts are allowed and encouraged
Previously painted models are not permitted.
The two parts of the entry must show clear artistic connection or intentional contrast.
Examples include:
Matching basing or terrain
Consistent weathering or environmental effects
Matching colour theory
Narrative interaction
Cohesive lighting
Stylistic consistency
Complementary opposing themes
The collaboration aspect is a core judging category.
Dioramas & Scenic Entries
Teams may create a shared scenic base or diorama.
Each team must submit:
High-quality photos of each component/model
The team name and/or painter names/usernames
A short written description of the concept/story (optional but encouraged)
Entrants must advise us on which team member completed which piece.
Optional:
Work-in-progress photos
Collaboration notes or reference sheets
Collage/side by side images showing the models ‘together’
Either through in person connections, or through online connections, you are looking to find a painter you can collaborate with to put out your final pieces.
