The Black Accord Challenge is an online miniature painting competition focused on collaboration, cohesion, and creativity.
Entrants will compete in teams of two. Each person paints one miniature (or one half of a larger scene), with the final submission judged as a combined entry rather than as two separate models.
The core challenge is not simply painting two good miniatures — it is creating two pieces that feel intentionally connected despite being painted by different people.

Black Accord exists to celebrate miniature painting through creativity, learning, constructive feedback and friendly competition.
As organisers, our role is to judge the work submitted to our competitions and to provide a welcoming environment for everyone who takes part.
Black Accord does not endorse or adopt the personal political, social or religious views of our sponsors, judges, entrants or community members simply because they are involved with our events. Participation in Black Accord should not be interpreted as an endorsement of an individual's personal beliefs, nor should an individual's participation be taken as an endorsement of ours.
Our competitions are judged solely on the published judging criteria and the quality of the work submitted.
While we do not seek to police personal beliefs or opinions expressed outside of Black Accord, we do expect everyone participating in our competitions and community spaces to conduct themselves with respect. Harassment, abuse, discrimination, intimidation or behaviour that makes our community unwelcoming will not be tolerated and may result in removal from our events or community.
Our aim is to create an environment where painters from all backgrounds can come together to learn, improve and enjoy the hobby, united by a shared passion for miniature painting.
